ABOUT

Join us for the fourth annual Public Engagement Symposium on April 18, 2012, 3:00–6:00pm at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), Multipurpose Room 6, 201 East Peabody Drive, Champaign, Illinois.

Your participation will provide faculty, staff, students, and community partners the opportunity to share innovative ideas and approaches to community engagement activities. We hope you will learn from, support, and celebrate the quality and variety of our scholarly and creative community engagement efforts.

The symposium will feature poster presentations and displays on community engagement projects.

All symposium activities will focus on the theme: Transforming Our Society.

Sponsored by the Office of Public Engagement and Online & Continuing Education, it is our hope to enlighten, educate, and inspire; to strengthen relationships; and to develop a culture of engagement across the campus and local communities.

The symposium is free and open to the public.

Light refreshments will be served.
